Another Look At My Top Priceline Skincare Picks

Another Look At My Top Priceline Skincare Picks (Priceline Skincare 40% Off Sale, February 2018) - Avene, Bioderma, Cinch, Essano, Formula 10.0.6, Indeed Labs, Jojoba Company, L'Oreal, La Roche Posay, Neutrogena, Nip + Fab, Simple, Swisse, The Ordinary - The Beauty Collection

It would seem that Priceline sales come around each half-year with the same certainty as Christmas. And I’m not mad about it all. The Priceline 40% off skincare sale is always a great time to pick up new things I’ve had my eye on. And I also take the opportunity to restock on my favourites from the budget brands they offer. And another sale is upon on us! Starting today Tuesday 13th of Feb and running until Thursday 15th of Feb, you can find 40% off skincare, suncare and tanning. Unfortunately, Ego and The Ordinary won’t be included this time around. They’ve also thrown in up to 50% off fragrances and fragrance gift sets. Awesome.

I always worry that I’m repeating myself with my recommendations but every time these sales are announced, I get a ton of requests to put together another post with my top picks. So here we are. This time I’m going to organise it by brand – it’s easy to get overwhelmed when looking at the skincare aisles so hopefully, this helps!

Avène Cleanance Expert*

Avène always impress me with their range of skincare, they have something for everyone. The Cleanance range is awesome for problematic skin and I always reach for the Cleanance Expert on spots and around my chin when my skin starts getting hormonal breakouts. Highly recommend for acne-prone or combination/oily skin types!

Avène Hydrance Aqua Cream-in-Gel*

My moisturiser in my nightly routine often chops and changes but the Aqua Cream-in-Gel is pretty much always what goes on my face every morning. It’s lightweight, incredibly effective and leaves my skin looking lovely. It soaks into the skin beautifully and is just so hydrating. Any skin type would benefit from adding this to their routine, I reckon.

Avène Hydrance Rehydrating Serum*

In a similar vein to the Aqua Cream-in-Gel, if you’re more into a hydrating serum to sandwich between other products then this is your pick. Again, it’s super lightweight and doesn’t weigh down the skin but works wonders when my skin is feeling dehydrated. My combination skin loves it but I can see it being a particular lifesaver for drier skin types.

Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Milk*

I tried this cleansing milk out ages ago and I think I’ll be trying to find another bottle at the sales myself. I absolutely loved using this in the shower every morning to lightly cleanse my skin without stripping it of moisture. It’s a fuss-free formula, similar to my discontinued favourite from Garnier, and we all know that Bioderma know what they’re doing.

Cinch Face Cheat*

I’ve been rambling on about this multi-use facial spray for a while now but it’s still seeing plenty of use in my routine. Somehow this spritz brightens, hydrates, preps and even does a little to refine pores. I love reaching for this just before I put makeup on, giving it a moment to settle in. Every time I do, my makeup sits just a little bit nicer over top. I personally can’t wait to check out their new releases in the sale, too.

Essano Rose Hip Oil with Acai Berry Antioxidant Oil

We all know how much I love my rosehip oil and I’m happy to report that I’ve even got my boyfriend using it every night. This is one of my favourites that you can buy from Priceline and he seems to agree! Not too heavy on the skin and really works wonders for congestion and evening out the skin tone.

Essano Rose Hip Visible Eye Lift Creme

This is another boyfriend recommendation, he can’t get enough of this eye cream. I’d heard awesome things myself so recommended it to him and it would seem that I’ll be picking up a backup for him in the sale…

Formula 10.0.6 Keep Your Cool Calming Breakout Mask

I keep this one on hand because it’s so useful when those angry, red hormonal blemishes appear. Leaving this on for 10 to 15 minutes really calms my skin down and makes breakouts a little easier to manage.

Formula 10.0.6 P.M Perfector Overnight Blemish Treatment

I’ve been a huge fan of this moisturiser in the past, it’s an awesome one for night time that really nourishes the skin without leaving it too weighed down. The packaging is practical and I find that all of the Formula 10.0.6’s products are awesome for acne-prone, problematic skin, in particular.

Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin Clarifying Mud Mask

Another favourite mask from the Formula 10.0.6 range although in honesty, I love all the ones that I’ve tried so far from them. This is such an awesome no-fuss mask that draws out impurities without leaving your skin feeling stripped of moisture. And it smells delish. I love keeping a tube of this on hand and I also love their travel-sized packets for travelling with!

Indeed Labs Hydraluron*

For my drier skin friends out there, this is always where I start when recommending products. Hydraluron is essentially just a huge, juicy dose of hyaluronic acid. It means that all of your hydrating products will be even more effective. I still keep it on hand (or the moisture jelly in the range, too) for when my skin starts crying out for more hydration. The Indeed Labs range has some seriously awesome products.

Jojoba Company 100% Natural Australian Jojoba

This stuff was a lifesaver for me when I had a lash lift go wrong last year. Applying some of this to my lashes and eye area each morning and night really brought down the irritation and nourished my destroyed lashes. But jojoba oil has a million and one different uses – all of which I’ve tried. It’s full of good stuff so from now on, I think there will always be some jojoba oil hanging around in my skincare stash.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Detoxifying & Brightening Charcoal Mask*

Another budget mask that I can’t get enough of. I’m already through my first tub and will likely pick up a second in my own haul, this time around. This black mask does an incredible job of detoxifying the skin. As it dries you can really see it drawing out impurities and after each use, my skin feels brand new. One of my top recommendations, for sure.

La Roche Posay Serozinc

My two La Roche Posay recommendations won’t come as a surprise to anyone, really, but they’re worth another mention. Serozinc is my nightly spray toner, filled with ingredients that help keep problematic or overly oily skin at bay. If you’ve got blemish-prone skin, definitely give this a go and see how it works for you.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Plus

And my all-time favourite skincare product. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve repurchased this and actually have three back up bottles already. This is a real lifesaver for my problematic skin, especially for areas where I get a lot of texture and spots due to hormones. I’ve listed out the reasons that I love this many times before but all I can say is you need this in your life.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleanser Gelee Milk

I’ve been so impressed with Neutrogena’s latest releases over the last couple of years. Case in point, this hydrating gel cleanser that I love reaching for in the mornings or as a second cleanse. It feels so lovely on the skin and always leaves it feel nourished after washing it off.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Roll-On

I also love a good cooling eye gel and this, with it’s cooling metal roller ball, fits the bill perfectly. If you’re after something hydrating and soothing without too many worries about correcting dark circles, definitely check this one out.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel

As you can tell, I’m a huge fan of the Hydro Boost line from Neutrogena. I’ve seen people with every kind of skin loving this range, from super dry to super oily. The Water Gel remains one of my favourite moisturisers I’ve found at the drugstore, it’s hard to stop myself applying half the tub every time I use it because it’s just so hydrating and always leaves my skin feeling happy. Highly recommend.

Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner

A lot of budget brands haven’t quite jumped on board with exfoliating toners but Neutrogena have had one in the line-up for ages. This is a great way to introduce AHAs and BHAs into your routine to make way for brighter, clearer skin. It’s not too aggressive or intense so if you’re a little tentative on the idea of acid toning, start here and see how you go.

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme*

If you’re after a more potent acid toner from the drugstore, look no further. With glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, these are some of the best pre-soaked acid toning pads that I’ve found. I’ve repurchased them myself many times now, too. There are also less extreme ones in their line-up, if you’re just getting started.

Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil

My favourite cleansing oil from the budget market and considering my new fave is upwards of $50, you can see why I’ve repurchased this one time and time again. It’s incredibly effective, removing every bit of makeup, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes which is a huge plus. Can wholeheartedly recommend adding this into your routine if you’re curious about cleansing oils.

Simple Micellar Cleansing Water*

I’m not a huge user of micellar waters, like others are. But I still like to keep one on hand for makeup removal or even to remove swatches when I’m photographing. And Simple’s is my pick of the bunch. Overall, Simple is a brand that I’ve loved for years. Their products do what they say they do and always leave my skin feeling happy. And the price is right, too.

Swisse Manuka Honey Detoxifying Facial Mask

Another mask recommendation and another favourite, I’m onto my second tub of the stuff now. It’s similar to the L’Oreal, it’s works in pretty much the same way but I do love that this one has manuka honey and aloe vera in the ingredients list. Either way, if you’re picking between this and the aforementioned L’Oreal mask, you won’t go wrong.

T H E  O R D I N A R Y

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%

Unfortunately, The Ordinary isn’t included in the sale this time around but I still wanted to recommend this lactic acid as it’s already so affordable. I’ve just gone through my first bottle and loved how much of a difference it made to my skin. If you’re after something to leave your skin feeling softer and happier, check this out (or even the milder 5% formula, if you’re just getting started).

Make sure you let me know what you pick up in the sale!
