It’s time for the second instalment of my gift guides – today, it’s all about the bits and pieces that aren’t beauty related. There’s something for just about everyone in this one so hopefully, these can put you on the right path to find the perfect gift, no matter who you’re shopping for. Even though I love shopping for everyone else and finding the perfect gift, it’s actually surprisingly difficult to sit here and list off ideas but nevertheless, it’s awesome fun getting the chance to trawl through my favourite gift-y websites in search of the perfect gifts.
Happy shopping, all!
FOR THE LOVERS OF LUXURY
Everyone has that friend who enjoys the finer things in life. But short of buying them a Chanel handbag, there’s plenty of things around that are high quality, beautiful and will make a lasting impression.
Kikki K Cat Compact Mirror – $12.95
I’m considering picking up this adorable compact for myself, even. Perfect for the cat lover in your life.
Kikki K Leather Coin Purse – $19.95
Monogrammable (!) and a perfect addition to any handbag. Everyone has loose change, right?
A practical yet beautiful gift, I love the look of this jewellery box.
The Daily Edited Mini Pouch – $49.95
TDE’s goods are always so classy – this mini pouch is super luxe but maybe just check out their whole range…
Go-To Skincare Face Case – $65
The kind of present that someone wouldn’t buy for themselves, but they’ll thank you forever.
By Charlotte’s range is full of beautiful, dainty, minimal pieces, but this necklace has been on my watch-list forever.
The ultimate luxury present, Daniel Wellington’s watches are timeless and every design is more beautiful than the last.
FOR THE HOMEBODIES
This self-confessed homebody over here loves nothing more than a night snuggled up on the couch. And if you have a friend or family member in the same boat, why not indulge them with something special to make their home time that much cosier?
Chocolab Personalised Chocolate Bar – starting at ~$15
I love the idea of customising your own chocolate bar. It takes the classic chocolate gift and put a personalised spin on it.
Tilley Le Sparkle Christmas Candle – $24.95
This LE range from Tilley is full of beautiful, festive scents, Sugared Candy is my personal favourite but hello Winterberry and Mulberry Spice.
Cotton On Luxe Plush Gown – $29.95
There’s nothing quite like a great, snuggly dressing gown. Put luxe and plush in the same sentence and you’ve got me convinced.
For that friend that just needs a great night sleep. I just recently bought a mini of this and I’m super excited to try it.
Ecoya Pocket Madison Gift Set – $39.95
More candles, this time a couple of minis. This set includes some of my favourite Ecoya scents.
T2 Famous Five – $40
For the tea-obsessed friend, there’s nothing better than T2’s gifting options. This one looks particularly awesome because it’s got a lot of their best sellers in there to try.
Peter Alexander PJs – ~$70
Again, is there anything quite as nice as new, luxe PJs? Peter Alexander always have incredible options.
And finally, just one last recommendation to cosy up with. Everyone can benefit from an awesome blanket.
FOR THE MOVIE & TV OBSESSED
We’ve all got that friend who’s always up to date on pop culture, full of recommendations for your next Netflix binge and knows all of the Marvel releases dates off the top of their head. Here’s how to repay that person for their always spot-on suggestions.
I’ve long been obsessed with Roaring Softly’s prints, with something for a lot of different TV shows, my favourites are the Parks and Rec ones.
Pop Vinyl Figures – $18.99
There’s truly a Pop Vinyl out there for any TV show, movie or video game. How adorable is this Groot one, though?
Netflix Subscription Gift Cards – $20 – $50
The greatest gift of all. Nobody’s going to say no to a couple of months of free Netflix, right?
Cards Against Humanity – $40
Not directly related, but I can’t help but suggest everyone plays Cards Against Humanity at least once in their lives.
FOR THE TRAVEL LOVERS
It’s no secret that I love to travel and this year, I’ve been constantly on the lookout for cute and practical travel things before my own trip. Here are a couple of things any travel lover would enjoy, some practical, others just adorable.
These enamel pins are a beautiful little stocking stuffer, I’m obsessed.
Typo Made Up Cosmetic Bag – $14.99
One can never have enough makeup bags. And these Typo ones look awesome, with plenty of different designs to choose from, too.
A practical, budget-friendly set of hair and bodycare, from one of my favourite brands of 2017. The sizes are perfect for taking away with you.
Saw this on Oliver Bonas and thought it looked like awesome fun! A great way to test your knowledge or even to learn a little more about our world.
Lonely Planet Pocket Guides – $19.95
My number one recommendation for anyone who’s thinking of travelling. These pocket guides are an awesome starting point for your research – chockful of sights, restaurants and tips.
HSW Cable Organiser Roll – $19.99
Packing cables and chargers and wires can take up plenty of room and just generally get all over the place so these organisers can be super handy to have.
Rifle Paper Co’s calendars always kill it, this beautifully illustrated maps collection is definitely on my wishlist this year.
Kikki K Travel Wallet – $69.95
A travel wallet is most definitely worth investing in. My Kikki K one has never let me down, with places for passports, tickets, reservations and cards. You can’t go wrong.
FOR THE TECH GURUS
I always love checking out gadgets and bits and bobs that are around this time of year and I’m sure I’m not the only one. There’s always some new kind of tech that makes it’s way onto my wishlist.
Typo Premium iPhone Lens Kit – $19.95
For the budding iPhone-ographer. I’ve played with these kinds of lens kits before and they are super awesome if you want something a little different!
Tile Mate Bluetooth Tracker* – $29.95
These bluetooth trackers have come in handy more than once for me since they arrived. Whether it’s for your keys, your luggage or your wallet.
Belkin Pocket Power Bank – $39.95
With phone batteries becoming less and less reliable, a rechargable power bank has become a must-have for my handbag and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Camalapse Mobile – ~$40 ($29.99USD)
Another one for the budding iPhone-ographer. This clever little gadget can help create beautiful, sweeping time lapses with your phone – I’ve used mine plenty of times and loved the results.
A pricy one but how cool would it be to be able to print photos straight from your phone?!
What’s on your Christmas wishlist this year?
