Coveted #9

The Beauty Collection Wishlist

It’s been a long while since I’ve written up a wishlist on TBC – years, in fact. But for some reason, I felt the need to write up another list of the products that are on my watch list. I’ve been buying a couple of bits and pieces lately while also convincing myself to save as much as possible for my trip to Europe in a couple of months. And maybe that’s another reason why I’m writing this up now. Think of it almost as an anti-haul – one day, I’ll need to get around to purchasing these babies but at least none of them are going anywhere.

This post is just a strange amalgamation of makeup that I eventually want to get. I have a little Google Sheets document (which is shared with my boyfriend, in case he needs a hint) and I feel sure even more will be added to this line-up as we get closer to the holiday releases. But for now, let’s have a look at the makeup and skincare that’s sitting patiently on my wishlist.

Chanel Le Blanc de Chanel

This has been on my radar for years. I play with it every time I’m near a Chanel counter. But it’s hard to justify spending that much on a primer, let’s be real. Nevertheless, the formula feels beautiful on my hand, the packaging is so chic and I’ve only ever heard good things. I think this might have to be one for a birthday list or something in the future.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser

Although I’ve been reaching for foundations with a more medium to full coverage lately, tinted moisturisers will always hold my heart, especially as we go into warmer weather. The Laura Mercier TM is another one that’s been sitting on my wishlist for ages now, after seeing so many good reviews and my previous experiences with the brand. I think I might just need to pick up a sample and see if it’s worth the splurge.

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation

The newest addition to my wishlist. I finally got the chance to check out the Fenty Beauty line in person the other day, and even though I did make one sneaky purchase, I was also keen to try out the foundation that seems to be a love-hate kind of thing. The shade range looks awesome and normally, I don’t mind a matte finish. But I think I’ll need a sample of this one before biting the bullet. Especially with my currently overflowing collection of foundations to try. Let me know if you’ve tried it already and what you think!

Cover FX Click Sticks

I have been loving Cover FX lately and the next thing on my list is to try out these Click Sticks. They look like tiny, handy, travel-size perfection. Coming with Cover, Correct and Enhance ranges, I’m super interested in trying out the concealers and cream highlighters in the range, particularly with my upcoming travel plans in mind. The base range from Cover FX continues to blow me away so I feel sure these would be no exception.

Ciaté Glow-To Highlighter

Ever since I first saw the pan of this gorgeous highlighter, I knew it had to be mine. There was a bit of confusion about when they were launching at Mecca and still seem quite hard to find but I feel sure I’ll be adding one of these to my ever-expanding highlighter collection in no time. Ciaté is another brand that’s really impressed lately so I look forward to trying out some additional bits and pieces.

Melt Cosmetics Blurr

A totally random one but after reading about this shadow, it just sounds perfect for me. Essentially the idea is that the shadow blends everything out, working almost like an eraser if you go too overboard with deeper shades. I’m not very familiar with the Melt Cosmetics brand but this has certainly piqued my interest. I don’t know when I’ll get around to buying this one but I can’t deny that the concept intrigued me.

NYX High Voltage Lipstick in Flutter Kiss

I spotted a bunch of people buying this in the recent Priceline sale so I checked it out online and fell a little bit in love. And then I couldn’t find it anywhere. I’m still on the lookout whenever I’m in a Priceline store and hopefully I’ll be able to find it.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick

This launch took Instagram by storm not too long ago and although I was very tempted to add one to my recent ShopandBox order, I’m still struggling to find great pale-gal swatches online. Normally, I’m not too bad at working out if a shade is going to work for me – Buff and Dead Roses look like the front runners – but I think I’ll just have to wait until I can find some better swatches or get the chance to play with them all in person.

Jouer High Pigment Lip Gloss in Rodeo

Another lip launch that I couldn’t ignore – you can see why my lipstick collection is so colossal. My obsession with Jouer only continues to grow so I feel sure this lip gloss will be making it’s way into my collection soon. I’ve heard awesome things about these glosses – intensely pigmented and beautifully glossy – so again, it comes down to working out which shade is best. I’m thinking I can’t go wrong with the shade Rodeo…

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

I don’t even remember where I first heard about this product but it’s been catching my attention whenever I’m checking out the US Sephora site. I’m all about intense lip treatments to leave on overnight, my go-to at the moment being Bite Beauty’s Agave Lip Mask but I’m reaching the end of that one and I’m looking for the next one to try out.

Dior Addict Lip Glow Pomade

I’ve had the Dior Lip Glow in my collection for a little while but I can’t help but lust over the gloss version. It looks like the perfect throw-on-and-go handbag companion. The packaging is simple but classic but again, damn that’s a lot of money to spend on a lip balm/gloss.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel

The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel has been my number one most-coveted skincare product for years. But there have been multiple things stopping me from taking the plunge. It’s hard to source, it’s fairly pricey and I’ve already got a million and one cleansers hanging out in my bathroom. Nevertheless, one day I think I’ll have to splurge and try out this cleanser that all of my favourite British bloggers rave about.

Drunk Elephant Rise + Glow and Nightbright Sets

Drunk Elephant appeared out of nowhere and I well and truly fell for the hype. The brand looks practical, effective and super cute but again, it’s hard to justify spending money on new skincare when my current routine is working just fine. But these travel-size trial sets are definitely coming home with me at some stage. It’s the perfect chance to try out the range and see whether it’s worth the splurge.

  • I ALMOST bought that Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel in London last year, but I baulked at the price tag + my skin did feel a little irritated just from the tester (it went away quickly though).

What I’m coveting right now: Omorovicza’s 5 Piece Cult Discovery Kit, a whole bunch of Comfort Zone stuff (mostly masks, but there’s a couple of moisturisers there too), The Ordinary’s Niacinamide + Zinc (I can’t remember the percentages but I couldn’t get it during the last Priceline skincare sale), bareMinerals’ barePro Performance Wear Liquid Foundation (I want a sample first) & a couple of Eye of Horus’ new Bio Lipsticks (got my eyes on Venus Pink & Freya Rose).

    • Yeah the price tag for the Oskia is definitely steep! I’m hoping to find a travel size when I’m over there later this year!

I’ve been interested in trying out Omorovicza too! And the new Eye of Horus lipsticks look gorgeous, don’t they?!

  • Huge wishlist! I have so many stuff on my wishlist too haha, but right now I want the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette and some holiday gift sets xx

The Drunk Elephant sets are definitely worth the price. I may have now bought the full size of both the serums, and considering buying a full size of the B Hydra Gel as well. My skincare routine is getting very pricy.

    • Yeah, they look like awesome value and I always love getting the chance to try out skincare before committing to the full size and discovering it doesn’t work for you!

Ciaté London Glow-To Highlighter looks very nice,… Awesome list
