I try to limit the amount of time I spend looking at Colourpop’s new releases because every single time I get drawn in. But I couldn’t resist checking out their new pressed eyeshadow launch. A new contender for the title of best single shadows? I was very excited to try. And of course, I might’ve been the only person that didn’t realise that Colourpop had free international shipping over $50USD until I was browsing the site so I decided to stick to that $50 and pick up a couple of things to try. Here’s a look at what I went for this time.
Pressed Powder Shadows in Let Me Explain, Ringer, Bel Air, Made to Last, Ego, High Strung & Boxer
The main event – I knew I had to pick up a couple of shades to try out. Of course, they’re all beautiful neutrals because I clearly have no self-control. Little known fact, I’m obsessed with all things starry so this packaging has me looking like the heart-eyed emoji.
At first, I was a little concerned as in the pans, the shimmery shades looked rather glittery and although they swatch with a bit of glitter, these have definitely exceeded my expectations. The two matte shades, Bel Air and Made to Last both look seriously gorgeous and I can already tell I’ll get a bunch of use out of the bottom three bronze shimmers.
Because they only arrived in the last couple of days, I haven’t properly given them a test but I can’t wait to give them a proper go and report back ASAP. The order also came with a free magnetic palette which I have subsequently ‘hacked’ to fit more shadows in at once.

Brow Pencil in Blondie
You don’t hear as much about the Colourpop brow range but I wanted to try out the pencil and see how it performed. The colour looks like it’ll be a great match for me and the nib reminds me a lot of the ABH Brow Wiz so I have high hopes. I did find it interesting, however, that this is a twist-up pencil but you can’t twist it back down once you’ve got the product out…
Lippie Pencil in Contempo
My two previous Colourpop orders have been quite lip product heavy. And although I haven’t been blown away with many of the bits I’ve tried, I really love the Lippie Stix in Contempo. So I thought it was worth grabbing the matching lip pencil to go along with it. Creamy formula, super simple application – I think this one will be getting a workout.
Blotted Lip in Deja Vu
So I made this order before the launch of the new Blotted Lips range. Which is a shame because those shade ranges look absolutely stunning. But this shade from the Alexis Ren collection looked right up my alley, too. It’s a little warmer than I was expecting but I’m still incredibly excited to give this formula a try. I’m always up for long-wearing, comfortable matte colour.

Can’t wait to get testing and will make sure to report back on everything ASAP! I have two other hauls coming in the next little while so expect to see them around these parts soon…
