What To Buy In The Priceline 40% Off Skincare Sale

I love when the Priceline Skincare sale comes around again. I’ve always got a bit of a wishlist going so I can’t wait to get in store and add some new bits to my routine. As always, I’m here to recommend my absolute favourites, in case you’re after some tips before heading in store yourself. I’ve run out of a few favourites lately so I haven’t included as many pretty pictures but still made sure to let you know why you might need each and every product on this list. Happy shopping!

Cleansers

Garnier Goodbye Dry Gentle Cleansing Milk

One of my favourites, and definitely one for any skin type. This milk is one of my favourites for a gentle, nourishing cleanse.

Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oil

I’ll continue to rant and rave about this cheap but incredibly effective cleansing oil. It works so well to remove makeup, just as well as some of my higher end options. An awesome introduction for anyone looking to try out cleansing oils.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

A quiet achiever in the drugstore, Cetaphil is incredibly gentle on the skin but does a great job of leaving it feeling fresh, clean and happy. I love keeping some of this cleanser in the shower in the mornings.

Avene Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion*

Yet another awesome option for any skin type – this cream feels super rich on the skin and does a great job of leaving it hydrated and refreshed.

Facial Sprays & Toners

Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner

I’m a huge fan of acid toners but a lot of them are quite pricey so I really love that there’s a cheaper option available at the drugstore. If you struggle with texture or scarring, this is definitely one to check out.

La Roche Posay Serozinc

One of my favourite discoveries of 2016. It’s the perfect morning and night toner for my skin – reducing my number of breakouts and keeping redness to a minimum.

Nip & Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme*

Another acid toner that I’m in love with – in an easy pre-soaked pad format. They’re an incredibly effective option for problem skin types or if you just want a little more glow to your complexion.

Cinch Face Cheat*

A skincare/makeup hybrid that I can’t get enough of. This all-in-one wonder product adds a bit of glow, leaves the skin feeling a little more moisturised and also acts as a primer.

Serums/Oils

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+

Rosehip oil is one of my can’t-miss steps – perfect to decongest and brighten my complexion. I’ve tried a million different brands but the Trilogy one is the best I’ve found at Priceline.

Botani Acai Berry Active Antioxidant Serum*

This is one I reach for when my skin’s on it’s best behaviour but it just needs a bit of extra nourishment. I find it also does a great job at removing redness.

Avene Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum*

For the seriously dry or dehydrated skin types. I find this serum is a favourite for when my skin is looking really lacklustre. A couple of pumps adds some much-needed moisture and glow to the skin.

Treatments

Avene Cleanance Expert*

The Avene Cleanance range is ideal for combination to oily skin types or anyone that struggles with breakouts. This lightweight treatment is a much-appreciated step that stops spots from appearing in the first place while still being gentle on the skin.

Avene Triacneal Expert*

I use this one on nights when my skin is feeling a little bit grumpy – it works similarly to the Cleanance Expert by getting to work on any spots or redness on the face while also reducing any acne scarring.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

Of course, no skincare post is complete without a mention of my all-time favourite. It does a little bit of everything – decongesting, calming, moisturising, mattifying – so it’s no surprise that I apply it morning and night.

Indeed Labs Hydraluron*

Adding Hydraluron to my routine drastically changed how bright and nourished my skin was looking – the perfect addition for anyone with dry skin or feel that their complexion is looking a little lacklustre.

Moisturisers

Formula 10.0.6 PM Perfector*

There’s something about this no-fuss night time moisturiser that I really love. It hydrates but also gets to work on any blemishes and adding a bit of brightness to the complexion.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel

A lightweight wonder product that I think I might even have to repurchase in the sale. This moisturiser feels weightless on the skin but really hydrates and keeps my skin happy.

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly

Another lightweight gel moisturiser and a slightly less intense option than the Hydraluron treatment. I love using this moisturiser before applying makeup because it provides a great base for makeup.

Face Masks

Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin Clarifying Mud Mask

The Formula 10.0.6 masks are great value for money, with one for whatever skin concern you might have. The Clarifying Mud Mask is my favourite for drawing out impurities. They also have handy travel packs.

Swisse Manuka Honey Mask

A mask that I always come back to – it’s seriously effective at clarifying the skin but never leaves my skin feeling tight or irritated.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Masks*

Three new additions from L’Oreal – a detoxifying, a mattifying and an exfoliating. They’re all seriously incredible and work well alone or altogether.

Other Bits & Pieces

Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Lip Balm

I’m strangely obsessed with this lip balm. Not only does it smell amazing, it also provides some serious hydration to the lips.

Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes*

Although I don’t reach for face wipes very much, these Micellar wipes from Simple are some of the most effective I’ve tried.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Roll-On*

From the raved about Hydro Boost range, I love this soothing, cooling roll-on to reduce swelling and add some much-needed hydration to the undereye.

  • Oh I am so glad you posted this! I was planning on heading over to Priceline on my lunch break today to get my shop on 😉

  • I reeeeeally don’t need any new skincare (I have backups spilling out of my drawers!) but I think I’m going to pop in anyway hahaha. I need to pick up a backup of LRP Effaclar Duo of course! I’m curious about the two Avene acne products, they seem similar to effaclar duo though. What would you say is the difference? Even though I have too many masks at the moment I definitely want to pick up one of the Loreal ones!

    Tasha // shiwashiful.

    • I bought three Effaclar Duos and two Serozincs… whoops. I actually didn’t pick up anything new but picked up a couple of backups and repurchases of products I use to use a while ago – very exciting! They are similar to the LRP Effaclar Duo but I think they’re just a little more effective when it comes to active breakouts, I always find with some French skincare that I don’t really know how it’s working but I know it’s doing an awesome job if that makes sense? You’re right though – you probably don’t need both if you’re happy with Effaclar Duo 🙂

  • Facial sprays and toners are great!

  • I’m really keen on trying those L’Oreal masks! 🙂

  • I mostly bought micellar waters – three different brands to be honest! I forgot to buy the Simple cleansing oil but I’ll have to pick it up later on.

So many great picks here 🙂

    • hahah yeah, a lot of people like to stock up on their micellar waters – I hardly ever use it so I already have a bunch at home!

  • belladilemma

I really wanted to pick up some La Roche products as I’ve seen a lot of people talking about it however I am starting laser hair removal on my lip therefore Skinstitut is another product I’ve been considering.

I did grab some Aveeno Hand Cream, Simple Cleansing Oil, Palmers Coffee Body Scrub and am excited to test out the Neutrogena Hydroboost Masks.

  • Kez

I adore the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturiser, but I can’t believe that I didn’t realise there was an eye roll on too! Amazing!

I wanted to buy so much stuff from the sale but of course i had to reign it in otherwise i would have spent hundreds of dollars. I purchased the palmer’s cleansing oil (I have been using the sanctuary cleansing oil forever but it was sold out – i’ve realised so many brands have come out with a cleansing oil so i am excited to try all of them), the neutrogena hydro boost water gel, the nivea aqua day cream and the neutrogena 2 in 1 cleanser + mask. I am loving the water gel. I finally have gotten back into skincare properly. I went through such a bad lazy phase where i was not being consistent at all and only doing a skincare routine on the days where i wore makeup. Then i’d feel guilty about being lazy with my skincare and hardly wear makeup. It feels good to be back on the skincare band wagon.

    • I quite like the Palmer’s Cleansing Oil – my second favourite at the drugstore! And Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Water Gel is AWESOME! I think everyone has those phases where they forget to maintain their routine, I know I do it sometimes, but my skin always thanks me when I get back into it!

  • Great picks! I’m not getting anything this sale because I have plenty of skincare already! But I’ll definitely keep these in mind for the next one :]

    • Thanks Julia! 🙂 I only repurchased some essentials this time around, I also have way too much skincare sitting there waiting to be tried!
