There are a lot of blush formulas out there and I like to think I’ve tried a fair share of them but often, I find awesome formulas in the drugstore and find myself reaching for them more than their higher end counterparts. It’s hard to justify dropping a bomb on a blush if you can find a formula that’s just as easy to work with for a fraction of the price but sometimes I just want to splurge on an awesome, luxurious shade. Here are my three favourite high end blushes that are worth spending a few extra pennies on.
I own the most Tarte blushes than any other formula and that’s not all down to the fact that their shade range covers just about anything you could need. The formula is also amazing – long lasting, easy to work with and even the shades with glitter in them never come off as chunky on the cheeks.
My picks? Exposed, Tipsy & Fearless.
I never hear much about Bobbi Brown blushes but the two that I own have remained favourites for quite some time now. They’re really pigmented, you only need to really light tap your brush into the product but it’s so easy to blend out even if you do go a little overboard – they never give you clown cheeks – and the shade range is a pinky blush lover’s dream.
My picks? Apricot & Nectar.
When one singular blush makes it into your 2015 favourites and it’s also the only one that you take with you overseas, you know you’re probably onto a good one. The Becca blush formula is raved about by many and I’m so glad I jumped on the bandwagon. The formula is soft and blendable and even adds a little bit of a subtle glow when applied.
My pick? Flowerchild. But Sweet Pea is next on my list to pick up…
