In the past I’ve normally been a one cleanser kind of gal, using one religiously until it’s finished before moving onto another but recently I’ve been trialling a few different ones and I’ve found a routine that my skin is definitely thanking me for.
The Morning Time Cleanser:
I used to be kind of lazy when it came to cleansing in the morning but the Human + Kind Wash Off Facial Cleanser* has changed all of that. One squeeze of this creamy cleanser leaves my skin feeling hydrated, refresh and clean and ready for make-up application after my shower. It smells nice and refreshing too, which is always a good little pick-me-up.
The Makeup Taker-Offer:
Maybe not the catchiest category name but it’s a necessary one. Some nights I whip out the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and give myself a once over but most of the time I scoop out a bit of the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (this is my second tub) and get to work massaging it all over my face. Once it’s all over my face, I wet my face slightly so the balm goes a little milky then clean it all off. The balminess means it’s super moisturising but more importantly this gets rid of ANY make-up (yep, even waterproof mascara) on my face after a long day.
The Double Cleanse:
I didn’t always see the appeal of the double cleanse but now I love it, the Jurlique Antioxidant Cleansing Mousse* is such a great second step because it leaves my skin clean and ready for the rest of my skincare routine and I can be positive that there is no make-up left on my face and no oily residue left over from the Clinique Balm.
I’m well aware that three cleansers might seem a little excessive to have on the go at one time but hey, the routine is working for me and my skin and it means I’m getting to try out more stuff. Win, win I think!
