That’s right – it’s that time again. Priceline is having a 40% off sale on skincare for Wednesday and Thursday of this week and you bet I’ll be in there having a good old browse tomorrow morning but I thought, similarly to the post I did just before the last cosmetics sale, I’d talk about some of my favourites that I’d recommend to you lovely people. I’ve got lots of masks, and a few other bits that are totally worth a look, especially at 40% off.
Garnier Miracle Skin Cream –
This is a new one to my collection but I was very excited to see it when it hit Australian shores after hearing all of my favourite British bloggers sing it’s praises. I’ve been using it quite a bit and really enjoying it – giving a bit of extra tint and luminosity to my base, especially on minimal make-up days.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (or Biodema Crealine H20 Cleanser & Makeup Remover) –
I’ve used the Bioderma and I’m now using the Garnier and it’s difficult to tell them apart really. They’re both a super useful step in my make-up removal, getting off the main bits before I get to a proper cleanse. I’d go for the Garnier simply because it’s huge (it says 200 uses on the bottle) and much cheaper to begin with but if you’re feeling like a francophile then the Bioderma is just as good a purchase.
Garnier Goodbye Dry Gentle Cleansing Milk –
I’ve mentioned before what a nice surprise I got when I picked this up after forgetting to bring a cleanser with me when I was travelling once. It’s gentle, it’s hydrating, it does a decent job of getting off make-up and it’s cheap!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Roll-On* –
This is a very new one to my skincare routine so I won’t say too much but first impressions are gooooood. It’s roller ball is cooling and calming on the under-eyes and makes everything feel a whole lot nicer.
Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner –
It’s a simple idea but it’s a good one. I always go for a few sprays of this whenever my skin’s feeling tight or dehydrated and it makes things look better in no time. I’ve repurchased this a few times now because I love it and so does my boyfriend, strangely.
St Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub (or Blemish Control Apricot Scrub) –
As much as I’m all about the acid toners sometimes my skin really needs a bit of manual exfoliation and although I’ve tried out a bunch of brands (the Formula 10.0.6 one is a good one too) I always come back to the St Ives ones, the apricot one is great for problem skin and those after a deeper, coarser exfoliation but I’ve been loving the Even & Bright one, it’s slightly less intense and smells delish. It’s another one my boyfriend steals when he’s in the shower, too.
Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Moisture Jelly –
I’ve also spoken about liking this one in the past and if you’re after a simple day moisturiser that’s going to leave your skin feeling soft and not interfere with make-up application then this is a good, albeit expensive, one to try out.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ –
Regular readers of TBC will know my love for this product. Not a day goes by where this doesn’t get plonked onto my skin. It’s a wonder product for me, and a lot of others. A layer of this morning and night leads to my skin being less congested and much easier to manage.
Now for masks from the Priceline aisles I’m just going to send you over to my post about the Formula 10.0.6 masks – so cheap but so good, my fave would be the Pores Be Pure, for the record, and they also have mini sizes to try them out for an absolute steal. The Palmer’s Purifying Mask is another mainstay in my mask collection, it’s been hanging around for ages – super great for a deep cleanse and drawing out impurities but can dry out my skin a little.
Happy shopping, all! What are you planning on buying? Any recommendations for me?
