Rumours have been everywhere this week about Priceline’s next 40% off cosmetics sale and good sources tell me you’ll want to be making your way to your local store on the 18th and 19th of November to get your cosmetics fix! I’ve already made up a list of products I want to pick up and try (organised but crazy beauty blogger here) and I thought it would be fun to recommend my top 15 picks to you guys if you need some inspiration on what to pick up. I originally aimed for 10 picks but it was impossible!
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer – $18.95, down to $11.37
I’ve mentioned this a whole bunch of times and it’s a daily staple under the eyes to fix up those dark circles – I can totally recommend this to anyone who wants a nice, easy to blend concealer which lasts well all day.
Maybelline Color Elixir Creamy Lip Lacquer – $17.95, down to $10.77
I have four different shades from the range (and others are on my list for the sale) because these are so damn good. The perfectly pigmented lip gloss – non-sticky and a great shade range that is great for even those that hate glosses.
Maybelline BabyLips – $3.95, down to $2.37(!)
Another product that I’ve bought in many different flavours (my favourite is Antioxidant Berry). These are a great light but moisturising lip balm and for $2.37 how could you go wrong picking up, like, a billion of them?
Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow – $11.95, down to $7.17
A beauty blogger favourite and ANOTHER Maybelline product that I’m a huge fan of with a bunch of them lying around in my drawers. They last all day by themselves or as a base for other eyeshadows, they blend nicely and they come in great colours – Bad To The Bronze is a must-have.
Maybelline Full N’ Soft Waterproof Mascara – $14.95, down to $8.97
Duh! You all knew this would make the cut for me because it’s the best at lengthening and separating my lashes while holding a curl. But really, this extends to all of the Maybelline mascaras – a perfect time to pick out a new one to try as I’ve heard good things about pretty much all of them.
Revlon Glow Powder Blush – $26.95, down to $16.17
Why is Revlon so expensive? This sale is definitely a good time to pick up one of these blushes – they’re really great, as I’ve mentioned before, and come in gorgeous colours, regardless of the over-the-top price tag.
Revlon Nearly Naked foundation – $25.95, down to $15.57
Even though I’ve been trying out a bunch of drugstore foundations (more on that in coming weeks…) this one still sits firmly on top of the pack. The perfect light-medium coverage foundation that looks super natural on the skin. It’s totally worth grabbing while it’s cheaper, that’s how I’ve picked up my last 3 bottles!
Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rosé – $5.69, down to $3.41
I’ve been loving this lip balm recently – it gives off serious By Terry Baume De Rose dupe vibes for a teensy weensy fraction of the price and it smells DELISH.
Rimmel Scandal’eyes Waterproof Eyeliner – $9.95, down to $5.97
My favourite eyeliner, making up most of my collection because they have every colour you could need and in a formula that goes on well and then stays put all day long. I recommend Bronze, Black and Nude!
Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick – $11.95, down to $7.17
One of my favourite drugstore lipstick formulas – they’re totally worth checking out if you’re a lipstick junkie seeing as they come in such a wide range of beautiful shades – I might even pick up a few more for myself!
Rimmel Glam Eyes Mono Eyeshadow in Backstage – $10.50, down to $6.30
This is my favourite single eyeshadow that just works every single time I wear it, in a surprisingly great and long-lasting formula considering the great price. This colour would look good on just about anyone!
Australis Tint By Brow – $9.95, down to $5.97
A recent addition to the brow gang but one that I’ve actually been loving! The brush is super easy to work with and there’s minimal crunch factor to my brows when I’m done – it’s great for more natural, casual days.
L’Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Lacquer – $21.95, down to $13.17
Another lip lacquer that I’ve been in love with recently and definitely worth picking up while on sale – L’Oreal is another brand that is pretty expensive at the drugstore! Non-sticky and applies really well on the lips and that packaging is so gorgeous isn’t it?
Essence Lip Liner – $2.00, down to $1.20(!)
$1.20 for an actually good lip liner is just insane – another beauty blogger favourite here for sure. There’s a huge range of colours and they’re a great option if you’re just starting out with lip liners, like me, and don’t want to spend a heap.
Essence Silky Touch Blush – $5.10, down to $3.06
I’ve professed my love for these blushes before because they are just ridiculously good quality for the price. Actually, that goes for basically anything from Essence but still, these blushes are one to check out!
Hopefully that’s given you some good ideas of what you should be looking out for and adding to your basket come Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a very basic list to get you started! I’d love to hear your picks from Priceline that I should be checking out in the comments below too! Happy sales shopping!
